George W. Abrahamson began his career in the fields of engineering and

surveying in 1973 as an engineering draftsman and subsequently as an

engineering technician during which times his father, R.T. Abrahamson, P.E.,

R.P.L.S. personally educated and trained him to perform engineering,

planning and surveying work for the company business of Abrahamson &

Associates, a Registered Engineering firm by the Texas Board of Professional

Engineers in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.  He implements

the exacting measures his father brought forward and reinforces those values

through his continued institution of professional engineering and surveying

practices in the day-to-day activities that have consistently and

successfully brought Abrahamson & Associates to the pinnacle of respected

accomplishment exhibited today.

George graduated at Amarillo College after earning an Associate in Science

Degree following his study in engineering and surveying.  He was elected

Outstanding Major in his field of Engineering Technology by the Faculty and

Administration of Amarillo College on the basis of his academic standing,

growth while at Amarillo College, work within the department and potential

contribution to his major area.  George graduated from Texas Tech University

at Lubbock, Texas after earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Degree while advancing his learning there through his continued enrollment

in engineering design courses beyond those required for his graduation.  He

frequently enjoys rewarding professional associations with his former

professors and faculty.

George has successfully completed the fundamentals examination and the first

of two-thirds of the professional engineering licensing procedure

administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and

Surveying (NCEES).  His engineering license application summarizes the broad

cross section of his 34 years of major engineering and surveying

accomplishments as attested by 12 professional engineers and four legal

counsel references with respect to his 69 pages of supplementary experience

records on file at the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in Austin,

Texas.  George presently works under the direct supervision of Licensed

Professional Engineers pursuant to the Texas Engineering Practice Act found

under the Occupation Code Title 6, Chapter 1001. Engineer (Texas Revised

Civil Statutes, Article 3271a) and will soon complete his engineering

license registration with plans that follow to obtain his surveying license.

George accomplishes civil/structural engineering and surveying projects on a

daily basis, and routinely engages in litigation activities where under the

responsible supervision of licensed professional engineers he directs the

investigation, analysis, writing and assembly of thorough engineering

reports, project design drawings and professional opinions rendered by way

of his professional documents and expert witness testimonies that have

successfully assisted his clients by producing consistently positive

outcome, which includes his prevailing engineering arguments in cases where

his former University engineering professors and others including licensed

professional engineers throughout the State have provided their services

including expert witness testimonies at the request of opposing counsel.

George continues to assist his clients by way of his professional, credible

engineering investigations that regularly yield commendable results.
